Important information for all users of our course - Staff, volunteers, players and visitors

We have received notification today from NZ Golf that all golf courses must be closed during the upcoming lockdown period. Therefore, as from tomorrow (Wednesday 25th )  we will be closing our course. Matt will be removing the flags, tee markers and rakes and we will be putting appropriate signs up at the course.

We know many of you will be upset that you will be unable to play on the course during this time but we have no choice in this matter and it is important we all follow government rulings at this critical time. We will update when we know the course can re-open.

Walking is allowed for mental health reasons within the Level 4 expectations. If members want to have a walk on our course please feel free BUT remember the social distancing and hygiene expectations

At this stage Matt can continue to do basic essential maintenance on the course but must work alone and follow Ministry of Health hygiene practices. However, NZ Golf have warned us that they are waiting on government advice on whether this can continue. No volunteers on the course please.

There is a VCovid-19 case (24/3) in Kaiapoi so keep safe. This is not only about your safety but the safety of others so please respect the guidelines above.

Kei roto ano tatou i tenei - We are in this together.

Stay safe.

President
